Refund policy
At Global Power, we want you to be confident in your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains when and how you can return an item and how refunds are handled. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with all included accessories, manuals, and hardware.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, except where the item arrives damaged or defective:
- Custom, made-to-order, or special-order items configured for a specific voltage, region, or specification.
- Items marked "final sale" or "clearance" at the time of purchase.
- Products that have been installed, wired, modified, or show signs of use, damage, or missing parts.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at support@globalpower.net with your order number and the reason for the return. Do not ship an item back before contacting us — returns must be authorized in advance, and we will provide return instructions and a return authorization. Items sent back without authorization may not be accepted.
Return Shipping
For returns due to a change of mind (i.e., the item is not damaged, defective, or incorrect), you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Because many of our products ship by freight, we recommend keeping all original packaging and pallets until you are certain you wish to keep the item. We strongly recommend insuring return shipments, as we cannot issue a refund for items damaged or lost in return transit.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. Because our products are large, bulky, and complete systems can take time to arrive, you have up to 1 week (7 days) from delivery to report a problem. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong product, contact us at support@globalpower.net within 1 week (7 days) of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. For freight deliveries, please note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. We will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item at no additional cost to you, and we will cover return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
Manufacturer Warranty
Many of our products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty coverage and duration vary by product. If a product develops a fault outside the return window but within its warranty period, contact us and we will help you with a warranty claim.
Refunds
Returned items are inspected before any refund is issued. Please allow time for the item to reach us and to be inspected, which can take additional days for large freight shipments. Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or a damaged or defective item.
Exchanges
If you need a different item, the fastest way is to return your original item (once authorized) and place a new order for the item you want. Contact us if you would like help selecting a replacement.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at support@globalpower.net. We can usually cancel an order at no charge before it has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the return terms above.
